Keeping Sobriety After-treatment

Alcoholism is an illness of the mind and body that can greatly influence the lives of the people that have developed it, along with the lives of the people around them. Sobriety does not need to be boring; being a matter of fact it’s seldom dull. Many sober members of A.A. are amazed at how complete their lives are in recovery.

It’s recommended that sober alcoholics give attention to the following as a way to stay sober:

* Live a healthy and active life style that helps over all real, emotional, and spiritual health

* Continue to read literature regarding sobriety and recovery

* Be section of a 12 step program including A.A. or N.A.

* Avoid negative that people people and drink seriously or use drugs

* Be surrounded by helpful people positive and

* Avoid people, places and things that might trigger a relapse
